Marble violin – idea
The main author´s request for a marble violin´s quality has been the highest accuracy, resemblance of a classical form and intensification of its accoustic sound to the concert broadness.
Through the constant improvement and bettering of proportional relations among the single components the violin are built from, the author wants to find the way how to create the clearest and the most imitative original functional jewel.
At present the last version of the marble violin are combination of two kinds of marbles, that are a dark green marble (Verde Guatemala) and a white classical Carrar marble.
For future the task No. 1 is to reduce weight deficit of the violin from c. 3.60 kg to 2.50 kg what would result far more playable instrument for concert performances.
